Been fighting awful nausea since about 4 am, then felt alright around 2 in the afternoon so I decided to go run some errands. It’s been ages since I’ve left the house since I’ve been fighting this flu for about a week, but it’s my birthday so fuck if I’m gonna stay home all day.
Managed to go to Target and the co-op to pick up the best crackers ever before my stomach was too pissed off at me to continue to the bookstore and out to eat as planned.
Luckily, my husband is wonderful and is going to pick up some mujaddara for me since it’s probably the only thing I’ll be able to keep down. And ABC Family is playing Harry Potter movies all night, so my birthday is still turning out to be pretty awesome.
Also, I bought my very first flat iron today since my hair seems to be getting curlier and harder to straighten with just my blow dryer. So I’ll either have really fabulous hair or lots of minor burns from now on.
As crappy as I feel right now, I’m still quite happy.
